We had to stay there due to unplanned change. I was worried because of the bad reviews. But the place was very clean and decent. I have paid much more for less clean places before. I don’t think the ratings are fair. It’s all based on the price which you have the choice to take or leave from the beginning..
Motel Carol was terrific for me on this trip. The room was clean, neat, the air conditioner worked well. It had a coffee maker and fridge (don't recall if there was a microwave, didn't need it). The location is great, it is beside Subway, IGA and a restaurant. The husband and wife were very friendly and spoke as good English as I do French! Highly recommend, will stay there again.
